Heard About Creative’s Outlier Free+ Or Outlier Pro+ Bone Conduction Earphones?

Bone Conduction Earphones, Perfect For Halloween Music!

At first glance, the big difference between the Outlier Free+ and the Outlier Pro+ is that the former has an IPX5 rating which makes it definitely sweat proof while the latter has an IPX8 so you can wear them in the rain or, if really brave, wear them while swimming.  Once you dig into the specs of these bone conduction earphones you also find out the Outlier Pro+ has a built-in MP3/FLAC/WAV/APE player with 8GB of storage.  In both cases the driver is a bone conduction transducer with a response range of 20-20,000Hz.  The microphones are also the same, 100-10,000Hz and a sensitivity of 1KkHz @ 38 dBV/Pa.

The microphones were surprising capable, not great by any means but you will be clear enough to be understood if you take a call over the Outlier Free+ or Outlier Pro+.  The audio playback quality is similar, not amazing but certainly decent, which seems to fit the asking price.  Creative wants $80 for the Outlier Pro+ and the inaccurately named Outlier Free+ are $70.  You can get all the details at NikkTech.
