Star Wars Outlaws Isn’t Out Yet, But There Are Already Two DLCs

Pay To Meet Lando And Ezra Bridger’s Pal Hondo Ohnaka
We have yet to even see the release of Ubisoft’s open world Star Wars Outlaws and yet they’ve already announced two DLCs, one for this year and one for 2025. This is an obvious attempt to convince people to not only pre-order but to grab the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition both of which cost significantly more than the base game. They also offer another unattractive solution, subscribe to Ubisoft+ and you can pay a monthly fee for access to the game and DLCs.
Please try to resist encouraging this sort of behaviour, or at least wait until it launches at the end of the month.
As for the the DLCs themselves, the first is called Wild Card and gives you a chance to enter into a Sabacc tournament that Lando Calrissian happens to be participating in. It’s unlikely you will get a chance to win the Millenium Falcon from him, but maybe you can get some of his creds. The second is calledA Pirate’s Fortune and will arrive next year. That will give you a chance to help Hondo Ohkana settle an old score; or possibly betray him?
The game launches on August 30th and both DLCs will be released after the fact. The first DLC entitled "Wild Card" arrives sometime in Fall of this year, while the second "A Pirate's Fortune" drops sometime in Spring of 2025.
